AFTEREAL

The overall movement evokes waves. Aftereal is a landscape of lights that occurs in front of the viewer's eyes and at the same time does not actually exist in that space. Those images are afterimages that only exist in our eyes or brains. The installation is made up of kilometres of white strings, with movements and vibrations triggered by small motors. The bluish colour is created by ultraviolet stroboscopic lighting.
