RÓDANO - SUSPENSÃO

In this project infrasound field recordings collected during the weekly movement of the Rhone Glacier as it crosses the geological valley are used. Although the frequencies produced by the glacier’s movement cannot be heard acoustically by humans, the loudspeaker generates acoustic energy capable of moving the gravel. Sound is thus used as a kinetic tool to create a cloud of constantly changing mineral debris.
